BLUSH celebrates the work of artists Xinyi Cheng, Curtis Miller, and Jeffrey Dell. The three comparable artists use a soft key color palette, aspects of printmaking technique, narrative, and emphasis on refined surfaces to create prints and paintings with varying shades of pink that retain an unusual inner light.
Xinyi Cheng graduated with an MFA at Maryland Institute College of Art. This Summer she will be in-residence at the Skowhegan School of Sculpture and Painting.
Curtis Miller currently lives and works in Baltimore, MD. He received his MFA from Maryland Institute College of Art's Hoffberger School of Painting in 2013. He has exhibited his paintings throughout Texas and the East Coast.
Jeffrey Dell lives and works in San Marcos, Texas. He is an Associate Professor of Printmaking in the School of Art and Design at Texas State University-San Marcos.
